We come to you, either at your home, hotel or wedding location, and bring everything needed to work on the bride, wedding party and mothers if desired.

Booking Policy

All services require 50% at time of booking.  All balances are due in full by due date described above.  Make all payments payable to:  The French Connection.  All credit card payments are subject to a 3.50% fee.

Limitation of Liability

The Client/Buyer acknowledges that The French Connection is serving only as a coordinator of services.  The individual or company providing the specific service is an independent contractor and remains liable for the quality and effect of the services.  Although The French Connection strives to coordinate reliable and proven service providers, The French Connection is not responsible for the manner, method or result of the provision of service. The French Connection does not guarantee the service or the service provider.  Additionally, The French Connection is not liable for the actions and/or negligence of any service provider. 

Rescheduling Policy

All appointments rescheduled with less than 7 days notice will be accessed a $25.00 rescheduling fee.   Rescheduling is based on the availability of the artist.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation with written notice sent via certified mail, received prior to 90 days before the event, refund of deposit less $25.00 processing fee.  Nothing more due.

Cancellation with written notice sent via certified mail, received within 90-60 days before the event, no refund of deposit.  Nothing more due.

Cancellation with written notice sent via certified mail, received within 59 days before the event, no refund of deposit and full balance due and payable immediately.

All notices of cancellation must be received via Certified US Mail, addressed to The French Connection, Tracy French, 4900 Broadway #200, San Antonio, TX 78209.

Overtime Charges

Overtime charges will be applied if the bride or other client to have services performed, is not ready at the scheduled begin time in the agreement.  Overtime charges are charged at the rate of $25 for each 15 minutes past the scheduled begin time and will be incurred at the 1st 15 minutes past the scheduled begin time.  Overtime charges are due on site before the services will be rendered.    Tardiness may restrict the time available for the schedule service and may cause for the service not be able to be performed due to lack of available time.  If a service cannot be performed by the artist due to tardiness of the client to have the services performed, there is zero refund of deposit and payments made.

Appointments beginning earlier than 7:00 AM will be charged an additional fee of $50.  Appointments beginning earlier than 6:00 AM will be charged an additional fee of $75.  Appointments beginning earlier than 5:30 AM will be charged an additional fee of $100.  Appointments will not be made earlier than 5:00 AM.

Hair and Makeup

It is best not to wash your hair the day of the service.  It is preferred to have the hair washed 1 day before.  Exception: flat ironed hair can not be curled.  If you have flat ironed your hair since your last wash and intend the artist to curl your hair you will need to rewash your hair and style without flat ironing before your consultation.  Your hair should not be wet when the artist arrives.  This will be treated as tardiness and overtime charges will apply.   Please have pictures of sample hairstyles ready for your artist.

Hair accessories such as decorative combs, clips or flowers etc., must be provided by the client and should be available for the artist at the scheduled appointment time.
Your face should be freshly washed and free of all makeup when the artist arrives.   We do not have sample lipstick for you to take with you, the client should provide the artist with the desired lipstick to be applied for the bridal session and/or wedding day.  The artist will provide a suggested color of lipstick at the consultation so the client can better select a color for the wedding day and bridal session.

False eyelash application is included with you makeup service.

Hair services for attendants and anyone other than bride

Please note that the fee for these services is at a reduced rate from the bride and due to time constraints our artists are able to do basic updo’s for anyone other than the bride.  Detailed updo’s require longer services and a higher fee.  If an attendant or someone other than the bride would prefer a more detailed hair style an additional fee will apply for these services and additional time will be needed.    Please contact our office in advance to schedule these services.

Artist

Scheduling conflicts occasionally result in an alternate artist performing services.      

Parking and Travel Fees

The client is responsible for parking fees incurred by the artist.   Parking fees can be paid in advance or on the day to the artist directly.  

The client will be charged a travel fee of $2.00 per mile round trip for services outside of Loop 1604.  Travel fee is applied per artist.

Tipping

Your tips are appreciated.   10 to 15 % of total services is customary.
